About Historical Data
GramRate records the gold spot price (XAU/USD) every minute; this archive began when the site launched, so it covers recent months rather than decades. From those readings we keep:
- Daily open, high, low and close in US dollars per troy ounce
- Monthly archives with per-gram prices for 24K, 22K, 21K, 18K, 14K and 10K
- Annual high, low and average for years with recorded data
Historical figures are in US dollars only: past exchange rates are not stored, and applying today’s rate to a past close would be misleading.

The minute-by-minute archive starts from the site launch in 2026 and grows every day. Only months and years with recorded data are listed on this page.
How accurate is the historical data?
Readings come from gold-api.com every minute and pass an anomaly guard (±4%) before they are recorded. They are mid-market spot prices, not dealer quotes.
Can I download historical data?
Historical data is available for viewing on these pages. Bulk downloads are not offered.
What currencies are included in historical data?
Historical closes are recorded in US dollars. Per-gram prices for 24k, 22k, 21k, 18k, 14k and 10k are derived from each USD close; other currencies are shown live only, because past exchange rates are not stored.
